Dinner at the Singapore Shangri-La dinner buffet.

Impressive and a wide selection of foods. It was pretty much as depicted on the youtube video but the prime rib was excellent! It was very high quality & medium rare. As is my custom, I had like 10 slices of the prime rib, boatloads of the King Crab Legs, some fatty pork and just tried a tiny bit of the rest--there appeared to be sections devoted to Chinese, Indian, Japanese (actual sashimi), and huge fruit & salad section (as is customary, I avoided these). Even the desserts were excellent with fantastic ice cream, which tasted freshly made on the premise. Oh, ordered Champagne via the app, and instead of bringing it to you, it's self pour; not sure I had ever seen something like this before. I was just sitting there waiting a while before I realized it was "you pay," then go get it yourself.

Not sure if I had gotten my 119 SGD (including tax & service charge) worth, but I sure tried. All in all, fabulous buffet and probably only Caesars' would be comparable.

PS - First time staying in a Shangri-La and pleasantly surprised, especially being accorded 8 am check in absent any status.
