Isn't that more an issue with the station of departure though? Food is very much dependent these days on where it is loaded rather than what the airline would want to give you.
TBH, I’m not sure that’s true with AF these days. I’ve had great meals out of CDG and JFK in J with them. But when travelling economy I have found that the food lately has been appalling wherever you fly from. Certainly compared to 5 or 6 years ago there has been a big drop in quality of their Y catering.
