Credit Card invalid when booking with miles and paying YQ

I'm using the Venmo Credit Card to make this booking. After being told the credit card was invalid, I see the charge pending at Venmo. Also, I can see my booking info in my account, which asks me for payment. However, I was not able to see the link to pay this bill.
So three questions:
  1. will the pending charge be taken off (Ok, I understand this might not be very relevant to ask here and I should go to Venmo, but just in case anyone has had a similar experience.)
  2. is my transaction declined because CX does not accept any sort of virtual credit card?
  3. how can I continue paying for the booking that didn't go through?
