I stayed pre-COVID and the hotel was quite nice IMO. Yes the GH is better, but it costs more than 2-3x more using points or cash.
For a one-nighter this hotel is also more convenient on public transport. The train to Sentral then the Skytrain thing a few stops to the hotel.
