Prompted by a google headline, I tried to add my biometrics profile to the app again today. The option was at least there. Passport photo scan worked, but reading the chip did not. From other apps, I noticed the NFC reading of my passport (and nexus, for that matter) wasn't working, though it was reading a credit card. So IDK ... is going on there.
