Six Travelers - I enjoy your reviews & respect your opinion. It prompted me to rank (for myself) the Conrads & Waldorfs where I've stayed. I couldn't decide between my top two. Hopefully someone will find it useful:

Beach hotels

1. Conrad Punta de Mita (tie) - Love this hotel although I admit that I have a sentimental attachment. This is my fav if not factoring in location. Not that the location is bad. Just not much walkable, but there are exceptions: Litibu Grill is 1/2 mile down the beach, the El Barracuda bar is the opposite direction a mile down a dirt road, Punta Mita is a short drive, and Sayulita is a 20-minute drive. Ubers exists but can be hard to find.

1. Waldorf Pedregal (tie) - If I factor in the ability to walk/Uber into Cabo, this is my #1. I like this hotel & Cabo enough that I plan to save my Hilton FNCs for an annual winter trip here. Service is top notch.

3. Conrad Tulum - In so many ways it's similar to Conrad Punta de Mita, but I just didn't love it as much. Maybe it was the rainy weather or that I had a cold while I was there or its remoteness, but I did get engaged while I was there, so it was still a pretty awesome Christmas trip.

4. Hilton Los Cabos - Not a Conrad/Waldorf but Conrad-esque enough to be included. Very nice resort. Not walkable into Cabo. Great place to stay if planning on staying on the resort during your stay. Family friendly.

5. Conrad Ft. Lauderdale, FL - Very nice beach hotel & good location, but not in the same league as the others.

Non-Beach hotels

1. Waldorf DC - What a beautiful, historic building and wonderful location in the heart of DC.

2. Conrad DC - Beautiful, modern hotel. Also, a great location and has a rooftop view of the Capitol.

3. Conrad Nashville - Another beautiful, modern hotel in one of my favorite towns. About a mile from Broadway.
