Correct: Until your "year" begins, you can't actually collect any tier miles, they won't count.
If you plan to take at least 4 Aegean flights until April 2024 then you'd only need 12000 miles within the entire year.
If you don't plan to take any Aegean flights, then you'd either have to collect 24.000 miles within May, or 70.000 miles until the end of April 2024 (of course including May 2023).
