Thanks, TWA.
He hasn't yet.
I however, DID; in fact my Conditional Approval (requiring interview, though none available forever) notification came 6 weeks BEFORE my Revocation notification, folllowed by several weeks by my Approval (apparently without interview) notification. During the time when I had directly contradictory Conditional Approval and Revocation notifications on my Dashboard simultaneously, there was absolutely no Request Reconsideration mechanism.
Spouse, OTOH, whose before expiration/reapplication was made months after mine, received an Application in Process, followed later by a boilerplate Revocation with Invitation to Reapply or Request Reconsideration (which is where he stands now). Wondering whether he should just wait to do anything, considering my trajectory (which is admittedly somewhat different) or advise him to Reapply (which might extend the life of the current card for at least a year while they process), or to Request Reconsideration, given that he has nothing to report---he can't disprove that any of those nefarious infractions apply to him.
He is not a dual---just Canadian, whose J-1 visa expired when Covid border crossings forced his retirement from our medical practice.
An article from one of your posts suggested Canadians are being treated more stringently for political reasons.
So again, left wondering whether this is a temporary glitch best to wait out, or indicative of more serious situation, and in the meanwhile we need to return to the US for medical care for both of us. Neither of us can stand in long lines anymore, yet we are not mobility impaired.
