This tells me maybe there is some merit to the comments below about holding off with re-qualifying since it is a rolling 12 month period?
That is because you upgraded. When you upgrade, the tier year starts from scratch. That way, you can get to gold within the next 12 months. Otherwise, you would need to wait until the next year to make gold or you would need to qualify within what could be a limited time frame.
This doesn't apply when you are requalifying.
