Sectors that got you from Blue to Silver cannot also get you from Silver to Gold (just like the tier miles that got you from Blue to Silver cannot also count in getting you from Silver to Gold)
To get from Blue to Gold via the "reduced" thresholds, you will need a minimum of 6 A3/OA sectors in total (A minimum of 2 are required to reach Silver; and once you have reached Silver, a further 4 are required to reach Gold).
Any "extra" A3/OA sectors you might have flown while still Blue and still below the reduced 9,000 Tier Mile target will not carry over. (Any tier miles left over from the final flight that pushed you over 9,000 should carry over and be available to you as a Silver to push for Gold. But flown sectors do not carry over from your Blue "year" to your Silver "year")
Starting from Silver, you need a minimum of 4 A3/OA sectors flown, while you have Silver status, to "unlock" the reduced Gold target.
