Question What is the easyJet flying experience like?

Hi everyone. I'm a US citizen traveling to Europe for two weeks this April.

Part of my itinerary is getting from Amsterdam to Berlin on Saturday the 15th. The catch is that I have a music festival to attend on the evening of that same day.

That means I'll need to depart from Amsterdam in the morning and arrive in Berlin in the mid-afternoon. All on April 15.

Therefore, in my situation, an almost 7-hour ride on a regional train isn't an option. I'll have settle for an almost 2-hour flight from AMS to BER.

Needless to say, one-way flights on KLM are insanely pricey, expect for the early-morning ones.

Then I learned about this low-cost, UK-based airline called easyJet.

The prices that easyJet charges seem astonishingly low. The only times that you'll run into issues is when you get hit with additional fees for having cabin and/or hold bags.

However, even though I have one piece of hold luggage, the overall cost for flying easyJet is still lower than the cost for flying KLM.

Is the experience flying easyJet similar to that flying low-cost US-based airlines like jetBlue?

Is easyJet's customer service good enough that I won't have to show up at AMS extra early in order to check in my hold luggage?
