Q: What is the easyJet flying experience like?
A: Have you ever had a colonoscopy?
Just like getting a colonoscopy but without the Vaseline.

I had really good experiences recently, on flights to Seville, Malaga and Bristol. There are still plenty of cheap flights if you keep your eyes open. Service was friendly and the onboard BoB catering has much improved and is not expensive.

I have had stacks of flights in the last 12 months with Easyjet. Always pay for exit row seat and get priority boarding. Never had a single delay and cabin crews are way better than BA,KLM or LH. You know what you get is what you pay for and I even managed to check in a 32 KG special case on Saturday night without any hassle, all be it I had only paid for 30KG.I do find the moron element in passangers goes up a lot when you have the UK crowd on board where dressing and behaving like a total oxygen thief seems to be more than acceptable. Dutch, German, Italian or Spanish passengers never a problem, so justb prepare yourself if there are English onboard.

Expect to stand in a line for a good half hour somewhere between the boarding gate and the aircraft, and always plan the customary 2 hour delay into your expected arrival time. You might also find somebody sitting in your seat when you get to it. Other than that they're great!

EZY do attempt very quick turnarounds and try to get everyone ready to board as soon as the aircraft is ready, yes you might end up queuing down the stairs waiting to board but sometimes that's only a few minutes, many airlines do it this way especially the low cost airlines.
As for someone sitting in my seat, I can say that in hundreds of EZY flights over the years I have not once found someone sitting in my seat on boarding. I'm sure it's not only an easyJet passenger that has found themselves parked in the wrong seat - I've done it myself!

The easyjet experience can be summed up in one number: 29.
That's how many inches of pitch there are on all seats except the bulkhead ones in row 1 and the overwing exit rows (10/11 on A319, 12/13 on the A320 and 18/19 on the A321).
That is rather cramped for taller people, to put it mildly. Buying up to extra legroom seating is a must for anyone on the taller side of average.
I`ve used them in conjunction with LaCompagnie transatlantic flights because LaCompagnie partners with them. Now that's a contrast....

I think you are being a little unfair here, according to the CAA easyJet's average delay for 2022 from UK airports was just 20 minutes and 24 seconds.

On the last flight my wife took they asked for volunteers to move to a later flight a day in advance, but still allowed 10 passengers too many onto the aircraft. That took a good 2 hours to get everybody and their bags off.
Small sample size i know but they are very close to joining Vueling and Ryanair on my no fly list.

I've flown them a few times. On a good day, not too bad. Definitely a step above Frontier or Spirit. Legroom is tighter but seats are more comfortable. I would buy the package that allows front seats and a full carryon bag (never check a bag!). Also, be prepared that at larger airports you may have to do some walking (they don't have the prime gates) and there are fewer amenities in the gate area.

LIving on the Isle of Man EasyJet is a big part of life, as to the UK it is EZY, Loganair, or the boat. The Manchester and Liverpool flights are generally daytime and generally without incident. The 1900 from Gatwick, and return, have been cancelled more often than they've flown in the last few weeks. And when they have flown it's been at least an hour delayed.
I'd agree with other posters who are saying that EZY are trying to sweat their assets a bit too much.

Easyjet is absolutely fine. No different to even legacy carriers now on internal European flights.
You have to pay for baggage, snacks, drinks etc but same with BA, Lufthansa, Air Malta etc now too.
It is fine, if cheap go for it.
Also Deutsche Bahn have train from Amsterdam to Berlin, 6 hours, can be as cheap as 52 euros.
