Mind you they did just send me this email:

We’re happy to tell you that your request was approved, and we’ve extended your United MileagePlus® Premier® Silver status, valid through January 31, 2024.

They seem confused because mystatus page says:

Congratulations on flying 1 million miles with United. In recognition of your achievement, you'll never fall below Premier Gold status, even if you travel less in the future.

This status is effective February 1, 2023.

Your current Premier 1K status and benefits are valid through January 31, 2023.

Anyway, no offers anywhere for me. Is that something that only happens to US based members?

I earned Gold, I was offered Platinum for a whopping $2,768 or 307,500 miles. Not worth it imo, its about 5 hundred more than the PQP difference I had between Plat and Gold.
