ETA: Don't get me wrong: if the earnings are indeed what's posted above, this is one of the best (if not the best) $/PQP ratios I've seen in a long, long time. Ever since they capped PQP earnings per segment.
I can't seem to find a way to get this to be lucrative using normal methods since I can't figure out a way to get NH codes on NH stock... wishing someone can prove me wrong.
As a bulk fare, the best case I could come up with is:
SIN-TYO: 3294 / 5 = 659 PQP
TYO-JFK: 6763 / 5 = 1352 PQP
EWR-LAX: 2454 / 5 = 491 PQP
==========================
2502 PQP x2 = 5004 PQP
12511 RDM x2 = 25022 RDM (or 50044 if 1K)
Base case on NH stock should be:
SIN-TYO: 3294 / 5 = 659 PQP
TYO-JFK: 6763 / 5 = 750 PQP
EWR-LAX: 2454 / 5 = 491 PQP
==========================
1900 PQP x2 = 3800 PQP
12511 RDM x2 = 25022 RDM (or 50044 if 1K)
This assumes the PQP cap doesn't apply to bulk UA flights, which I believe to be true.
OP's numbers are actually spot on if this is ticketed as a bulk fare.
