When you walk out the plane into the terminal building, there is a transfer area almost immediately to your left once you exit the air bridge.
They were able to print me a boarding pass for my next flight, but it might only be for Tunisair flights. Don't know if they have the ability to print passes for other airlines.
Also, US citizens didnt need a visa when I was there but things might be different now.
I second this. In 2019 I did an AZ to LH transfer without going through immigration. I had to wait about 25 minutes for someone to show up to do the security check as clearly there are very few transfer passengers here. I had emailed the LH Tunis station beforehand and arranged for the boarding pass to be brought to the transfer area. It all worked out fine but did take about 30 min altogether.
