I stayed at the President Wilson in July and was very happy with it. I will definitely stay there again. I’m a Marriott person so, PW was an easy choice for me. It is a bit further to walk from there to the old town (compared to the Mandarin) but not bad at all. There is a bus stop very close (Gautier) that is only minutes away from Gare Cornavin.
