There are a number of ways to do Male and Mahe as you desire, whichever one you pick is up to you. I'd also look into making this a RTW (round the world) itinerary, as they can benefit from substantially cheaper booking costs. For example, if you LHR-(anywhere in NA)-MEL-MLE-SEZ-LHR that should qualify.
Thank you again for the advice, I was considering RTW but the Oneworld system wasn't pricing. Will consider something like LHR-DFW-MEL-(MLE-SEZ)-DOH-LHR and try make the most of it!
