Not a true 1 airport area like say somewhere like CLT would be (RDU being 2h40m away).

Pre-HP merger US actually had a healthy yield premium over AA. So the pricing on PHL short-haul business markets has been consistently high over the years.
Yet, AA will fill a ROC-PHL seat for a $200 fare connection to Florida. United meanwhile has 737 service between EWR-ROC and capturing more O&D. It's not just Philadelphians that use PHL but those in a lot of surrounding counties that drive up to EWR resulting in PHL leakage. I wouldn't consider someone in Willow Grove, Yardley or Cherry Hill a Philadelphian.
