Well i found out what they did.
They booked my flight as 2 separate segments. LAX-HNL and HNL-LIH hence the "double' charge.
So they just need to credit me for those 2 mistake charges right? Nope. They are telling me that they have to cancel my reservation (booked on miles) and then rebook after the miles show up in 10-14 businees days. By then who know what the miles requirement will be. The more I deal with Hawaiian, the less I want anything to do with them.
I'm going to see if my credit card company will do a charge back for those mistaken fees.
Can you elaborate on the 'two segments' remark. Are they the same ticket? It's possible on award tickets that HA always books things on a per-segment basis?
