@danpeake 1) I can't give you the magic #, but it's 1-855 #. To find this #, use the address provided on the card agreement. That should lead you somewhere. First time I called, the 1st tier rep identified themselves as something else (US Bank *&^*&* Card), but supervisor Alex identified what their entity was since I kept asking questions. Why do you have the same mailing address as other cards, etc. Second time I called, the 1st tier rep did not identify themselves. I immediately explained my situation and this 1st tier rep was aware of the issue. I was immediately forwarded to the supervisor De..ie. 2) The forum automatically masked bad words. Alex was PITA. 3) I already FAXed. They acknowledged the receipt. They already have my name associated with the compromised card. They claim they can't read the copy of my ID. 8"x11" letter sheet of paper, 80% of the sheet is occupied by the front of my ID and front only. If they can't read this, there is no way any amount of FAX I send can make it "legible." On the BBB web site, this illegible FAXed ID issue is reported at least once.

@danhouston It used to come in 7 - 14 days for me.

@traveltogo According to Alex and De..ie (I'm masking the name but you should be able to guess easily), they do (do or can, I am not sure) service the Kroger PrePaid Gift Cards "directly." I was speaking to subdivision of USB according to both of the supervisors as well as the USB banker who gave me this magic #. The banker was in checking & savings dept. The banker said this US Bank *^&^*)(* Gift Card Department might be able to help. Supervisor Alex had no idea what he was doing, but Supervisor De..ie knew. Alex asked for the compromised 16-digit number, he wasn't able to access. Then, I gave him the drained USB VISA gift card # that I registered online once I found that I have to send my ID to get compromised card replaced (about 1/3 - 1/7 ish). He was able to access this card. I was like WTH, Alex. Just reissue me for the compromised cards, but he insisted he could not help. He insisted that Kroger prepaid gift cards they stopped servicing. Then why he was able to access the un-compromised card I don't know or he didn't know. And, he had an attitude. He talked over me. He was just like any other rep. Just sticking to script. De--ie was aware of the compromised cards. She pulled some kind of trick, she was able to access the compromised cards. I asked if this problem was an insider job or BIN attack. She did not have an answer for that (even if she knew, probably wouldn't tell me). Again, according to De--bie, "any kind of gift cards" issued by US Bank National Association they have access to. I'm not sure if all PrePaid/gift cards issued by USB are serviced by BHN. If so, your statement stands, but if no, your statement does not stand. If you have any doubt, find out the magic # and inquire. Just so you know, they did not have any accents: both 1st tiers and supervisors unlike the 1-888 # on back of the card. Oh, I just remembered. Do you know if BHN services the government unemployment prepaid card issued by USB (another clue to get the magic #)? If so, still a chance I was talking to BHN. If no, I was not talking to BHN. I just remembered this, too. According to De--ie, there was no reason to send my ID to get the replacement card since the card was compromised before it was activated since not possible to register. She was able to register the card on the fly like what I was able to do by calling the 1-888 # a couple of week ago. She even tried to expedite the replacement cards without me asking for it although it failed.
