Given Amex credits now routinely take up to a week to post, I don't expect 1/1 purchases to credit until around 1/8, at which point the transaction would be backdated to 1/7.

1/1 $250 TB Purchase w/ Aspire
1/7 $250 Credit posted today, backdated to a 1/6 transaction date
No meter movement yesterday morning, it must have moved later in the day as others reported. All these years of doing TB, I never realized the meter updates in the evening or thought to check then.
Early January reimbursements are likely to take longer.
This did not occur as you said it would. Amex reimbursements
can be delayed in January but that doesn't mean they are
likely to always take longer.
