Flew QR 725 DOH-ORD 5th Jan changed to 2-2-2. Thankfully got to experience it on the way there, but still a bummer. In addition service was disappointing which didn't make the change easy to swallow! Home safe and healthy which is the most important thing but overall this has been a good lesson in shopping carefully for international long haul flights and managing expectations. I just landed from that flight an hour or so ago.
Great flight, but the moving map was nothing but ads and no outside cameras. Service was excellent as well as the food.
ORD Global Entry is an absolute disgrace and the baggage claim area was a nightmare.
We spent 45 minutes, after waiting 35 in the GE line, waiting for a Priority bag. Had to race though re-check, the ATS, Pre-check (twice as Qatar printed TSA Pre-check on our DOH-ORD BP's, but not our ORD-ATL).
The only saving grace was a delayed flight (mechanical) ORD-ATL or we wouldn't have made it.
