IIRC, there were cookies and very light snacks left out midday. Nothing substantial at all though.
I've always found Uber incredibly convenient from MEX. Haven't had to wait more than a few minutes. My last trip several months ago did run almost $30, but that was during rush hour and it took over an hour to get to the hotel.

That sounds about right. Possible there was still some food out till 8? Agree about getting something outside the hotel instead since I don't recall the food options in the lounge being that great.
