Sharing an interesting DP from yesterday. Flew yyz-fll with my wife - both upgraded to J 14 days in advance with R space as an SE. Our 35k daughter on the same flight but different PNR (flex reward) was number 3 on eUp waitlist using her credits after online check in.
For kicks, I decided to apply my status pass (expiring anyway) to her PNR & surprisingly that moved her to the top of the list in the app (and ultimately the only upgraded seat)! I thought status passes did not effect upgrade priority, but clearly did here. Regardless, a nice holiday present from AC with Apologies to the 2 people whose spot she jumped over.
