Meaning, no Y and E tickets being sold at all, however they are still selling J.
Does it means they basically are overbooked in Y already?
W and Y are fully booked, but not necessarily (though possibly) overbooked.

I got the email about reserving seats and did so, however does reserving seats in advance reduce my chances of getting bumped up for an overbooking upgrade? Thanks in advance.
I don't believe having a seat assignment would hurt your upgrade chance. I always have a seat assigned and still get upgraded from time to time.
