I will of course defer to others if they've been able to get to Mayo via the skyway, but at the times of my visits, it wasn't clear at all and it wasn't entirely inviting either. There's also construction on the west side of Broadway by that mini-mall that may have temporarily closed down the bridge, I can't recall exactly.

In any case, they'll arrange a ride for you if you can give them some advance notice (which you should have, given Mayo's astoundingly good scheduling and efficiency, and I'm not being sarcastic here) if walking is a challenge.

It was clear to me that the staff knew many of the guests well, greeting them by name and they were being very proactive and attentive. Unfortunately some may be in the area for weeks and even months.

Note, there's some relationship between Mayo and Hilton; indeed, there is a Hilton building on the Mayo campus.

Hotel also has apartments on the top levels, which are quite large. My assumption is that these are for longer term guests/higher visibility guests.

As a Rochester transportation note, while Uber is in town, I experienced (to me) longer waits for pickups at the airport and from the hotel to the airport, so build that into any travel budget. Also, I have the same Uber driver both inbound and outbound, so be nice inbound! (actually just be nice)
