Yeah, the something being that these cars are highly impractical for lots of rental car missions. And also pieces of junk in the specific case of Tesla EVs.

I posted in the Hertz Tesla thread that Tesla rates were cheaper than any other class at IAH this summer. Yes, cheaper even than Manager's Special. That wasn't a special promotion. That was market pricing.

Hertz bought too many of these heaps and far too few high quality sedans and now has to discount Teslas aggressively.
