I have flown Republic in the past, as commuter carriers for other airlines, but that has been years ago. Are these three airlines good to fly with? Thank you!
As indicated by several, not a lot of major difference between the carriers operating 2-cabin planes under UAX brand. All are "fine".

On a broader note, United service out of CLT is pretty limited, so not a lot of non-stop destinations, less frequency / options in case of irrops, no Club at the airport, etc.

Assume you are flying AA now, what do you want from United instead....?

The worst (oldest) plane you will encounter would be an E170 operated by YX, but any of the CRJ-550, E170, and E175 are more than comfortable rides, with only the Y- seats on the CRJ-550 being more on the cramped side.

Having flown a decent amount of UA out of CLT (almost always on way back to EWR), it's an okay experience, if not one with the most amenities in that corner of Concourse A.
Curious, what is your source for the statement that only SkyWest is flying CRJ200s next year? I see Air Wisconsin still on the schedule for as far out as I have had to look, flying CR2s

Since they left EWR (or at least left any of my flights), I've found the regional carriers to all be fine.

Not sure where you're heading, but anecdotally (me, I'm the one saying this) I've found that the regionals tend to get delayed a bit more often for a variety of reasons. Less equipment, smaller crew availability, and maybe even some preferred treatment for mainline during IRROPS at hubs.
Agree with your overall sentiments, but greatly prefer the ERJ145 over the CR2. The entire "A" row as singles with no one beside you, especially the exit row, is a much better experience than the CRAMPED 2x2 on the devil's chariot.
