These are good suggestions. The reasons I would favor the Elara over these are:
---the Strip and Paradise are purpose-built Hilton Vacation Club timeshare buildings (seen one, you have seen them all), whereas the Elara was obviously built to a higher, more elegant standard
---in August, you must minimize your outdoor time since the heat will make you feel that you are in a broiler oven. Elara allows an indoor walk to the casino and shopping mall. It's even more scary when the power goes out, as happened to us one time (but it was fun to see the Windows 98 billboard signs rebooting on the strip when the power was restored). The Elara, I believe, also has 3 and perhaps even 4 bedroom units, but at an outrageous price.
