Smoked Five Spice Tofu with cashews and teriyaki sauce
I really wanted to like this dish. Five spice is one of my favorite seasonings. Unfortunately this dish lacks any hint of smoke or five spice. It's a bit of a mushy slightly sweet-teriyaki forward dish where the cashews pick up the duties of texture. Tofu itself was fine. I wouldn't order it again.
The grain based side salad was the star on this tray. Pie in the Sky served afterwards.
Service from a Hawaii based purser was over the top fantastic, one of United's very best.
