in all Air France "BEST" cabins, children are seated at the window. There are no other possibilities. Even if you take the central seats, the crew will be able to change your place on board.
For the "COI" cabin (14J), children can be next to an adult in the center row on the side-by-side seats.
I'm telling you about my own experience.
