FWIW, one wouldn't know a strike was on and had absolutely 0 impact on travel over the weekend just gone. Was there myself. Ground staff at check-in as well as lounge said no effects on EI's operation! Curiously Menzies staff were still very much there too, so I'm guessing this is either excellent contingency planning or the strike wasn't as effective as hoped and many crossed the picket line.
