I’m exactly in the same boat. 50k miles so far and would have to do 11 trips between now and 12/31 to keep 100k status. I weighed the pros and cons and decided it’s not worth the time and money for me. The main advantage of 100k over 50k is refund ability of the “works” package and checked bags. I don’t need these perks when I travel alone but If I take any big family trips next year and really needed these two perks, I”ll just pay for it. I’m still hoping Frontier does a multiplier promo these last few weeks in which case I”ll do the 2-3 trips to Vegas to keep 100k status, but 11 trips in 4 weeks? No way.
Yeah im not thrilled about it but the Works saves me a ton of money. I routinely travek with 4+ people and the bags alone would be way more than the $800 I would spend for this for the year. So going to dig in and do it.
