The Marriott change has already occurred: Marriott Brilliant $300 hotel credit replaced by $25/month dining in Sept 2022.

Thanks, Mia, that clears up where I've heard them. While they don't (currently) apply to the Amex Aspire, I don't want to renew if they are coming.
