DL 253 JFK-BOG D1 11/16

Ended up having the Branzino and it was a great decision. At first the cabin crew didn’t see my pre-order, and I resigned myself to having the short-rib, but after takeoff they did see that they loaded a branzino dish (pretty sure I was the only one in the cabin that pre-ordered it). However, it meant that they served me the starter salad first and later came with the fish, vs. the normal 1 tray service (and tbf I rather like it coursed out anyway). Well worth the wait as the dish was delicious and probably the best thing I’ve had on delta or even a US carrier in ages. Rice was really fluffy, almost like a briyani, while the fish was super buttery, perfectly cooked and flavored, and absolutely decadent. Cake was pretty superb too. I’d advise anyone who has this as an option to take it!
