A lot of hotels in China and Thailand are like that too, my mum broke a glass and it's CNY 15. We stayed at an apartment hotel in Pattaya and we checked the sheet and got housekeeping to take pictures of the condition and we put on our own bed linens right after that to make sure they are clean as new and we removed our own bed linens before check-out (we brought some used one so we only bring it there without having to bring them back). We also brought our own cooking utensils instead of using theirs. I know it's a hassle but it's 1/5 of the price of Marriott and we got 2 apartments instead of a room.
180 MYR for a sheet is robbery.
