Interesting, I also "just" returned from a week stay in SG at around the same time. I didn't have access to the list you posted, but still ended up visiting Ya Hua BKT and Sungei Road Laksa.

Can definitely recommend both! Couple of notes: the laksa is very affordable price-wise but the portions are small so I still had plenty of room for more even after ordering the "large", also it has a healthy helping of cockles so beware anyone who doesn't like the fishy/salty taste. We had the BKT as a late night meal and it was absolutely divine; very hearty and fragrant and the shop was emptying at the time so the staff were very proactive in refilling the soup. Definitely get the fried dough (youtiao) if you aren't averse to oily foods, it's a match made in heaven.

We also visited Hua Ting, which was probably the best dim sum experience I have ever had. Their take on the classic pork bun was amazing, but it was actually their pan-fried halibut that stole the show. The server tried to sell us on their peking duck, which is actually one of their specialties, but since we were only two people dining we declined as it would likely have been too much in addition to all the other dishes we wanted to try.
