I have no experience of same plane turnaround at JFK but have flown either AY5 or AY15 4-5 times this year followed by AA domestic connection. Every time from AY door to AA lounge <1h. I know I have been lucky with no real lines in immigration. Try to get orange express connection tag from ground staff when you exit AY plane - that may be helpful in case of long lines at immigration.
