the Budapest-Honolulu route via London, US East Coast and US West Coast in business class would be 920 Tier Points , plus potentially another 80 points to get from London to Budapest and back at the start and end of the main itinerary. A while back, these flights were available for around £1300. The route can be further extended by routing via Helsinki from Budapest to London, which adds a further 160 points if done on both outbound and inbound. This may or may not increase the price depending on dates, times etc

The route is pretty optimal as you are splitting the total journey into as many 140-point segments as possible - if you flew say budapest - London - Los Angeles - Honolulu it would only be 320 points each way.
