You’re not the first to face this problem. As long as the names on the ID matches the ticket, doesn’t really matter.

RABBIT SMITH/PETER will be the same as SMITH/PETER RABBIT to the check in or gate agent. They don’t have enough time to scrutinize or question why a last name ended up in the middle name field or a middle name ended up in a last name field.
