Weird conversation just now - I had a schedule change, but they won't let me make a change because "the airline automatically re-validated the flight because you didn't call within 24 hours of the change". I thought if a schedule change happened I have basically forever to call in? It's even weirder because I DID call in within 24 hours but was told they COULDN'T change it back then because the ticket wasn't confirmed and still in re-scheduling limbo. So it's a lose-lose.
What's the rules here? They told me only schedule changes of >24 hours have 'indefinite" free rescheduling, but I was sure it was 3 hours. This is on a BA flight.
