I will agree with you there. I ignore or filter out the credit card (or quite frankly most of the mileage related) posts. OMAAT has some pretty good travel reviews, in my opinion, and has some useful non-marketing content. I like it compared to others like TPG because it seems to start with a base assumption that the reader knows what an airplane is or has traveled before.... TPG and some others, I just can't when they dumb things down to (and I'm just making up something out of the air here) an article about the latest travel hack being that if you check in online you can get a lower boarding number on Southwest.
