I’m just curious, unless you love being sold credit cards repeatedly, what’s peoples draw to continue reading his blog?

With a blog reader app, it is very easy to ignore posts with titles that are about credit cards and only read posts that interest you. Similar to how you can ignore many fora/threads on Flyertalk if you find them unuseful, and continue to read those you do.
I got rid of TPG from my feed years ago because I found the ratio of useful content to sales pitches had decreased. Unlike TPG, when OMAAT has non-marketing content, it is written by someone who at least has more than a passing familiarity with travel.

My curiosity lies more in the people that post here how terrible the content is, and appear to be monitoring it like a hawk and complain when there isnt enough of it!!
