My nutritionist, back when I had one, classified it as my being a supertaster, and recommended various peculiar methods (like trying to gaslight me into thinking carrot sticks were not only healthier but also tasted better than fries) to overcome it. I was like whatever, and intimated that she had better come up with a regimen that excluded the foods I didn’t like or I’d find someone who will, ultimately resulting in a regimen of V8, berries (black, blue and ras), and daily multivitamin.

Dinner was a NY Pizza from Tony’s, which their menu denoted as having won some awards. It was really good, and probably better than Amici’s. Bummed game 5 (the reason I had ordered the pizza in the first place) was postponed, and had to fall back on MNF, poor substitution for a winner take all game 5.

PS - I think the restaurant for the lao-bok-go in a bow was something called the Mayflower Lounge or something on Geary Street in SF?
