Oh, and FWIW I got my rental agreement electronically (but this time an actual rental agreement), so I think Sixt is in fact moving away from handing you the fistful of paper.
And now that I have returned the car, they have changed the rental agreement in their system to reflect a price for fueling over $200. Good thing I saved the rental agreement as it appeared just prior to returning the vehicle.
