Just wanted to ask, what is the best and quickest way to earn 12,500 MQNs with Delta? I recently applied for a status match with Delta (I am a BA Executive Club Silver) and was matched to Gold Medallion for 3 months. In addition, to keep the status until 31 Januaury 2024, I will need to earn 12,500 MQMs. I am based in the UK and was wondering what is the quickest way to earn this? Also, is the MQD a requirement for US based member only?
Part of the reason why I applied for a status match challenge is because I have ITA Volare Premium which I understand isn't fully recognised by Delta and I have a couple of flights with them this year and my Flying Blue Silver won't get me into lounges- I am due to qualify as Gold after my flight with KLM in a few weeks time.

I have to admit I'm still slightly confused why you did a status match if you had 0 short-term flights planned on DL. You mentioned wanting lounge access and not currently having it with FB Silver but if you're going to be FB Gold in a few weeks then you wouldn't also need DL Gold status for that purpose.
i.e. if you just want lounge access on some DL flights you /do/ have upcoming later in the year you could just put your Flying Blue number on those flights and you would be able to leverage that status.
But yes, you are correct that the MQD requirement doesn't apply as long as you have a non-US address on your SkyMiles account.
EDIT: at least, I was pretty sure that the foreign MQD waiver applied to status challenges also, but I can't actually find that explicitly spelled out on the DL site
