When I click on the receipt, it shows an 006 ticket number, and each segment again shows Z fare class. When I access the reservation through KLM (website or app), it shows World Business, I am able to select seats, etc. The ticket numbers again start in 006 (originally were 074). It also says I will be traveling in Z class (thought the fare basis starts in T, which was the original booking class). For all the experts on here, does this all look correct? Is there something more I should check?
So the trip I wrote about above worked perfectly. I decided to try this again for a trip in January. After buying the ticket from KLM, I called Delta. The agent said there was upgrade space and came back after 19 minutes and said everything was done. I was suspicious. When I looked up the reservation on Delta, it showed KL flight numbers and Z fare class, but when I clicked on "View Receipt" nothing happened, and when I looked it up on KLM.com it still showed 074 ticket numbers. I called back said I thought the ticket needed to be reissued. The agent was less knowledgeable but reached out and said I was correct and said the tickets were now reissued. When I go on KLM now, I do see 006 ticket numbers. When I click on the receipt on Delta, something does pop up, but it has both 006 and 074 numbers. The receipt is also odd--the price states total for 4 passengers (not 2). Does this seem incorrect? I don't think this is what the receipt looked like on my last KLM upgrade.
