I think I have a similar issues.

After we were upgraded to two different cabin and a night sleep on the floor yesterday,
I realize our original booking are being split into two PNR,
I have the original booking and she has a new PNR issued to her.

Whilst everything is still the same, would having 2 PNR have any implications when we are flying together?
and what was the reason why she got "rebooked" into a new PNR?

Edit: I can see the "Associated References" on each other's PNR through cowtool
It was split probably because we were travelling in different cabins.
All is good.
