You could give the agent a friendly reminder that it is in both yours and KL's interest to get you to Oslo tomorrow, as KLM is liable for both EUR 600 compensation /and/ all costs incured during your overnight connection, which includes a hotel, food, etc.
Thanks will try again. You are right about the other airlines, I can see them. Will try again (although they tell me they don't see things that I see and that what they see is the real option).
About the business seat: cannot do that for only one of the flight, would need to also include my US to AMS leg and for that there is no availability in business plus I would have to pay for the fare difference since they only have to re-route me in the same class. Therefore not viable.
