Liveandletfly.com’s Matthew has children too - younger in a way than the HFP clan but older than the VFTW Gary’s next generation . LL’s John hasn’t mentioned anything about having children AFAIK. TPG’s Brian also hasn’t mentioned anything about having children AFAIK. None of these blog principals are very impressive with content on travel with children using miles/points; they weren’t before they had children, and they still aren’t even after having children .
Of the miles/points blogosphere players mentioned here, it’s TPG which has least interested me. I enjoyed the Mommypoints Summer pieces mostly because our interests with skiing overlapped; but after TPG grabbed her, the content sort of got buried among the heap of TPG stuff which I found to be neither useful nor entertaining. I think part of the issue with mommypoints not working out so great with TPG is due more to market realities and how online behavior varies a bit along demographic lines/circumstances.
